CNI Visited by PCUSA
The South Asia liaisons of the
Presbyterian Church of USA Rev. Dr.
David L. Hudson and Rev. Dr. Scott Smith visited the
Church
of
North India
in its Programme Office at
Nagpur
from 4th to 6th November 2007 accompanied by Rev.
Dr. Enos Das Pradhan, General Secretary of the
Church
of
North India Synod
. During their visits, the
guests interacted with the Programme Resource Team of Church of North
India Synod to have an overview of the mission engagement and
programmatic intervention on issues affecting life and dignity of
God’s creation. They also
visited the
Church
of
North India
– Social Service Institute and the
Hislop
College
where the concerned authorities welcomed the guests with garland and
bouquets. They guests spent
a meaningful evening with street children sheltered by CNI-SSI which has
established a Night Shelter last year to accommodate street children
under its project UMANG.
