The
Most Rev. Joel V. Mal, Moderator, Church of North India, was joined by
the members of the CNI Executive Committee, the CNI Diocesan Bishops and
the members of the Synod staff and others in the Brick-laying ceremony
on the terrace of the existing building on August 9, 2007 for the
construction of the fourth and the fifth floor of the CNI Bhavan.
Work of the extension will begin soon and is expected to be
completed by August 2008. The
brick-laying ceremony was done with a thanksgiving prayer The proposal to expand the CNI Bhavan has been there since the year 1998 as the need for expansion was felt by all. |
