B.ED. College Inaugurated

The Rev. Dr. Enos Das Pradhan, General Secretary of the Synod of the Church of North India , officially inaugurated the B. Ed College in the St. Michael’s School campus under the governance of the Diocese of Durgapur on June 2, 2007 . 

The inauguration function started with a thanksgiving service attended by almost five hundred people from all the areas under the Diocese of Durgapur.  The Rt. Rev. Dr. Probal Kanto Dutta, while sharing his dream of the college said at times dreams seem distant but with Gods help and the help of His people they become reality.

The College is named as St. Michael’s Teachers Training Institute.  It is  a co-educational College and the medium of teaching will be English and Bengali and will start functioning from the end of the July 2007.  The college is getting immense response for admissions from Durgapur and its neighboring cities.
