World Sunday School is celebrated all over the world in November to bring all the children of different denominations together on a common platform expressing their unity in the mission of God. This is also time for reflecting on Biblical themes and stories. This year’s theme specially challenged the participants and the guests to commit themselves to the cause of suffering humanity and to build the lives of people who lie broken, dejected and alone in our communities. Bishop Dan encouraged the students and teachers to work towards building Gods Kingdom. He appreciated the efforts of the Coordinator, teachers and pastors in organizing the program.
Mrs. I. Dan appreciated the vigor of the teachers and the students and encouraged the teachers to continue working hard with the children. She awarded trophies and gifts to the children and teachers. Jamuna Church bagged the running shield for best performance. Katra Church stood second and All Saints Cathedral and St. Peter’s Church Muirabad jointly shared the 3rd position.
