Tribal Youth of Dang Envisioning a Better World

"I am not happy with my present world as it is characterized by poverty, unemployment, sickness, and communal violence, exploitation of nature, unequal opportunities, unchecked materialism, and unjust domination. I would like to live in a world where there is peace and justice." Pastors Retreat on Stewardship

The pastors, evangelists, deacons and catechists working in Dang for the Church of North India came together at Ahwa for a Retreat on Stewardship organized by the Church of North India Synod on 14th and 15th of March 2012. The delegates were welcomed by Kasta Dip, Coordinator for Justice, Peace and Reconciliation programmes of the Church of North India Synod. The two days of program aimed at reviving the spiritual life and responsibility of stewardship during Lenten period.......more

Lenten Revival with Dangi Folk Music

India has the richest culture of folk songs and music. Most of them have their own popularity and they are never too old to be redundant. And thus it was more than just pertinent for our churches in Dang, South Gujarat to use them for their spiritual revival in the Lenten season. Seven of the eight pastorates organized a special musical evening (locally called Bhajan Mandali) each day from 16th to 22nd of March 2012. Mr. Kasta Dip visited all the pastorates during the Lent and encouraged the congregations with Word of God.......more

TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR BD/MTH PASTORS AT NAGPUR

The Church of North India Synod organized a four day Training Programme cum workshop for BD/MTh pastors from 13th to 16th March 2012 at the Centre for Human Potential Development, Nagpur. 50 Pastors from different Dioceses of CNI participated in the Training Programme under the theme "Building Leadership for Holistic Pastoral Praxis".......more
