Deacons Ordained in the Diocese of Chandigarh

Seven persons were ordained as Deacons in the St. Peters Church at United Christian Institute, Suranussi, Jalandhar City on May 16, 2010, by The Most Rev. Joel V. Mal, Bishop, Diocese of Chandigarh and former Moderator, Church of North India. The persons are Mr. Robin Varghese, Mr. Baranabas Soni, Mr. Javed Masih, Mr. Nishan Masih, Mr. Sarwan Masih, Mr. Tasvir-UL-Haque and Mr. Sumeer Gill. Various local churches participated in the ordination worship. A banquet was organized in the honor of newly ordained Deacons in the United Christian Institute, Suranussi, Jalandhar City. Punjab. Present on the occasion were the diocesan dignitaries.
