CNI MRBE Inter School Sports Meet 2010

CNI MRBE Inter School Sports Meet 2010 was organized by the CNI MRBE Area Committee from January 24-26, 2010. It has been an historical moment in the life of the education institutions belonging to the CNI MRBE. The Rev. Dr. Enos Das Pradhan, General Secretary, Church of North India and the Secretary, CNI MRBE inaugurated the sports meet at Gardiner High School play ground then various athletic events continued to its finals. Whereas Football/Foot cell and other sports continued at St. Ursula High School Play Ground. The closing ceremony of the Inter School Sports Meet took place at St. Ursula School play ground on January 26, 2010, where many institutions coming from Amravati, Bhandara, Chandrapur and Nagpur participated.

The Rolling Trophy in memory of Late I. D. Pradhan father of the Rev. Dr. Enos Das Pradhan, General Secretary, CNI Synod and Secretary, CNI MEBE attracted the attention of the viewers. It was for the best All Round Performing School which went to St. Michaels School, Chandrapur. It was sponsored by Mrs. & Rev. Dr. Enos Das Pradhan. Many were honored with various trophies, prizes and appreciation mementos, the Memorial Trophies sponsored in Memory of Late Dr. Ashish Bhelwa by the Vidharbha Women’s Football Association and also by the Maharashtra Throwball Association was given by the hands of Madam Mrs. Flora Bhelwa the mother of Late Dr. Ashish Bhelwa. 

A very Encouraging speech was delivered by the Chief Guest Most Rev. P. Lyngdoh Moderator C.N.I Chairman M.R.B.E, he praised the efforts of the M.R.B.E Area Committee in organizing such a Mega Event. He was thrilled and highly praised the Event. Rev. P.P.Marandih Deputy Moderator CNI Vice Chairman MRBE also addressed the gathering with his valuable thoughts. The General Secretary C.N.I & Secretary M.R.B.E Rev. Dr. Enos Pradhan highly appreciated the sports meet . He spoke on the occasion on Unity, Service & Witness and focused on the Values, Objectives and the Mission of the Church of North India. The former Minister Mr. Haji Anees Ahmad addressed the gathering with his informative speech and also cheered, applauded all the Institutions for their Joint Venture. 

The joint venture of the CNI Inter School Sports Meet was a grand success. After the National Flag Hoisting Ceremony, the parade competitions of various school troupes, the oath ceremony, lighting of the caldron by the Chief Guest and the various P.T. Displays were awesome. It truly came up to the expectation of the sports theme “SERVE IN UNITY TO BE A WITNESS – TO ARISE AND SHINE WITH FAITH, HOPE, COURAGE AND SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP”

This sports event has been a grand success because of the hard done by Mrs. Priya Chauhan, Principal, Gardiner High School and Secretary M.R.B.E Area Committee, Mrs. Rachna Singh, Principal, St. Ursula Girls’ High School and Treasurer M.R.B.E Area Committee, Mr. Sudipta Singh Chairman M.R.B.E Area Committee and the sports adviser , technical director Mr. Noel Joseph, the emcee team were Parvati Joseph, Rachna Bansod , Shweta Dhalwale , Anita Fule. All the P.T.I’s worked hard towards the success of the entire Sports Meet.
