Pre-launching of Un-graded Curriculum for Sunday Schools

The Church of North India envisions that every congregation has a functional and vibrant Sunday School. If there is no Sunday School then the existence of the Church is only a banner. But we can take pride in Christ that most of our congregations have Sunday Schools with committed teachers upbringing the children in Christian discipline through Biblical teaching.  To make the movement more lively the Church of North India had planned to have proper curriculum for its Sunday Schools.  Since our congregations are responsible to revive the children through their children ministry and contextualized teachings, we thought of developing a proper curriculum and train the people who are involved in Child rights, child ministry and Sunday Schools.

So far we had been using the graded Sunday School teaching resources published by different movements and institutions but it was found unviable by many of our congregations where one teacher teaches to many students of different grades.  So, the uniqueness of this curriculum is that it is an un-graded curriculum - one curriculum for all classes. Through this uniformed curriculum the unity of the congregations will be more visible as it will help not only to those who are involved in Children ministry but to make all our dioceses realize the mission of Christ for Children so that the worth and the lost childhood of children whom Christ loved the most will be restored.
