CNI Diocesan Youth Director at South Asia Peace Camp  

Rev. Michael Herenz, Youth Director of the North East India Diocese of Church of North India attended a training programme on Peacemaking, Reconciling and Skills Development organized by the South Asia Council of Churches and the South Asia Ecumenical Partnership Programme at Ecumenical Christian Centre, Bangalore from 7^th to 30^th July 2008.  

The goal of the programme was to help the participants to closely look at the Bible as a resource for Peace and Reconciliation and train them in skills of negotiating, understanding the nuances of conflicts and intricacies of peace so that they would lead the peacemaking initiatives in a pluralistic context.  Mr Kasta Dip, Youth Coordinator of CNI shared about the Youth Movement in South Asia and facilitated a session on ‘Importance of Networking for Peacemaking in South Asia’.
