4TH BATCH OF TRAINING ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONCLUDED

Communication has always played a vital role in the process of development.  Therefore, church being an agent of transformation/development need to equip people for effective and efficient communication.  In realization to the fact that without using Information Technology, our approach to communication, particularly in India , will not have much of its desired repercussion on the life and mission of the church the CNI took the challenge and has been organizing training programme on Information Technology since 2004. 

The 4th batch of trainees has just left the campus of CNI Centre for Human Potential Development, Nagpur on 29th March 2007.  The training was inaugurated by Mr. Sudipta Singh, Director Programmes of CNI, on 17th March 2007.  In his introductory remarks Mr. Singh challenged the trainees who are existing staffs of different Diocesan offices to meaningfully document and communicate to others about what the Dioceses are doing as part of their mission agenda.  A group of 20 people underwent the training which was coordinated by Mr. Kasta Dip, Coordinator, Youth Concerns of CNI and classes facilitated by Mr. Tushar Rokde, (Soft Web India) and Mr. Rohit Bhal, (Eyemagic Computer Graphics).

The course covered Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, FrontPage, Creating and Maintaining Websites and Uploading Files to the Web.
