Dear Readers,  

Greetings in the precious name of our Risen Lord.  

It is again a joy and privilege for me to reach you with some inspiring news of programmes conducted by the Church of North India at different places.  We have held a national consultation on “Congregational Renewal for Effective Engagement in Mission” (CREEM) at YMCA Programme Centre, Greater Noida where bishops and key leaders from all our Dioceses came together to reflect upon and deliberate on the praxis-oriented process of CREEM at grassroots.

Through this programme we are attempting to equip the congregations with required resources so that they can engage themselves more effectively in mission than ever before and help in bringing God’s heavenly kingdom on earth.  I request the recipients of this e-newsletter to uphold the programme and the congregations involved.  CNI has recommitted itself to stand in solidarity with the people movements in their struggle for peace and justice.  It has expressed solidarity with “Sangharsh 2007” through resource sharing.  Your continued support of prayer is our strength as we toil in the vineyard of God in Church of North India .
