CNI Youth, Vaibhav Pannalal, Raised to National Political Leadership  

Mr. Vaibhav Pannalal, a member of St. Paul ’s Church, Raipur , Diocese of Jabalpur, Church of North India has been appointed as the National Secretary of National Students Union of India (NSUI), the Students wing of Indian National Congress Party which is ruling India at present in alliance with other secular parties.  The NSUI works at colleges and universities dealing with issues like education, employment and students rights and promoting Gandhism and secularism.  

Vaibhav has been associated with the NSUI from grassroots from his college days in Chhatishgarh and held important positions of leadership in the student wing of Rotary Club, Raipur .  As a committed Christian youth, he has given impressive leadership in Chhatishgarh Christian Forum and organized youth for raising voice against discrimination, humiliation and persecution suffered by Christians in the State.  

In a testimony he acknowledges the contribution of CNI in shaping his prospects about politics and achieving this rare distinction.  He was one of the delegates who attended a 15 days of ‘Leadership Development Training Programme’ organized by Church of North India at the Centre for Human Potential Development, Nagpur in October 2004.  With him in the national political arena, CNI will have better cooperation from the Congress governments.
