Youth Envisioning Ecumenism 

To widen the scope of ecumenical movement, a four days seminar on ‘Youth Envisioning Ecumenism’ was organized by the Ecumenical Asia Pacific Students and Youth network – India at SCM House and ECC Centre, Bangalore from 14^th to 18^th February 2007.  Bringing youth from different churches and church related organizations the seminar registered encouraging and thought provoking ideas shared by delegates and resource persons.  The Seminar was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Sam Kobia, General Secretary of World Council of Churches.  Dr. Kobia affirmed the importance of the role of the youth in ecumenical movement and challenged the delegates to combat anti-ecumenical forces through their sincere involvement at all levels.
